- 1 / 5By Michelle ChavezWorst Fareway meat department in Iowa. The staff do not pay attention to who has been waiting longest. They also sell old meat. My husband just brought home some Top of Iowa Sirloin steaks and they have a brown stripe through them when you cut them up into smaller steaks. They're been sitting so long the blood has completely drained out of them and they smell. I guess that's why they were on sale. Not coming back.July 03, 2016
